A WFTS spokesperson confirmed with TVSpy weekend meteorologist Bill Logan no longer works at Scripps-owned WFTS after more than ten years.
“The rest of the ABC Action Weather team will rotate the weekend duties for the next couple of weekends,” said the spokesperson. “The station is working on bringing in a temporary hire until managers hire a permanent replacement.”
Before joining the Tampa ABC affiliate in 2004, Logan was a show host at the Home Shopping Network. He’s also worked as a sports anchor and reporter at WXII in Winston-Salem, N.C.
