Mike Rush is joining KVUE as anchor of the Austin, Texas ABC affiliate’s 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Rush takes the place of Tyler Sieswerda who left the station in May, reports Austin American-Statesman TV writer Gary Dinges.
“We are incredibly lucky to have someone with Mike’s level of investigative storytelling join our team,” said KVUE president and GM Kristie Gonzales. “He’s the kind of journalist who literally changes lives with his reporting.”

He comes from KSDK in St. Louis and starts March 20.
