WSVN anchor Craig Stevens scolded viewers who criticized the station’s coverage of Hurricane Matthew. Stevens took aim at those who said the Miami Fox affiliate wasted viewers’ time and made too much of Matthew’s arrival. “Try telling that to the families of the 200+ the storm killed in Haiti (to say nothing of what we may find in the Bahamas & Cuba),” said Lucas. “Or the countless lives about to be disrupted in Florida counties just to our north.” The Miami Fox affiliate anchor told viewers they should be grateful Miami avoided the brunt of Matthew’s punch instead of complaining they were prepared for its arrival.
