Anchor Denise D’Ascenzo Marks 25 Years with WFSB

By Andrew Gauthier

WFSB anchor Denise D’Ascenzo celebrated a major milestone last week: on Friday, she marked her 25th anniversary with the Hartford CBS-affiliate.

D’Ascenzo joined WFSB on March 19, 1986 and has been a consistent presence at the station’s anchor desk ever since.

“She is the longest serving female anchor at one station in the market,” points out Dana Neves, WFSB’s news director. “That is just unheard of these days.”
