“We had a lot of reasonable doubt,” Russell Huekler, an alternate juror in the Casey Anthony trial, told a group of local reporters on Tuesday evening following the not guilty verdict.

“They didn’t show us the evidence good enough for a conviction,” he said, recalling the prosecution’s case against Anthony.

News crews were waiting in Huekler’s front lawn when police dropped him off at his St. Petersburg home on Tuesday. The impromptu press conference included crews from Orlando’s WOFL and Tampa’s WFLA, Bay News 9, and WTVT. (WTVT’s video is above).
