Alex DiPrato makes a 37-market jump to his native Florida, joining WSVN in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. DiPrato has been a reporter at WPRI in Providence for the last three years and got his on-air start at WTXL-TV in Tallahassee as reporter and weekend anchor.
DiPrato tells TVSpy via email, “I grew up watching WSVN and worked there as an AP while at the University of Miami. I am thrilled to be going back to report!” DiPrato was a double major — broadcast journalism and political science — at the University of Miami.
