Former Florida governor Jeb Bush shook up the Republican side of the 2016 presidential race with a tweet Tuesday morning, saying he had decided to “actively explore the possibility” of running. The announcement sent politicos into a flurry of speculation and analysis about what a Bush campaign might look like, and how it might fare. Miami ABC affiliate WPLG political reporters Michael Putney and Glenna Milberg got a hint, talking to Bush Saturday for Sunday’s “This Week in South Florida.”

Asked directly about making an announcement, Bush said “this is a really serious, life-changing decision, and I’m going to take my time.” Asked what his criteria would be on making the final decision–which Bush said would come early next year–Bush said “it’s personal. Do I have what it takes to go through this campaign and be capable of leading this country? That’s a humbling thought if you’re really serious about it.”
