After Heather Nauert’s Exit, Juliet Huddy Filling In on WNYW’s ‘Good Day Wakeup’

A change on the early morning newscast at New York City Fox O&O WNYW: Since last Monday, Juliet Huddy has been filling in at the anchor desk alongside Steve Lacy from 4:30 to 7 a.m.

Heather Nauert, who has anchored “Good Day Wakeup” since 2009, has left WNYW. Station sources say WNYW is looking at both internal and external candidates, including Huddy, to anchor the early morning show. The station is having on-air tryouts for the position, according to sources.

Huddy is the former host of “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet,” a syndicated morning show that she helmed alongside Mike Jerrick. After the show was cancelled in 2009, Huddy returned to Fox News Channel, where she is a frequent contributor to “The O’Reilly Factor.”
