“You’re Illustrating Why MSNBC’s Viewership is in the Tank”

Lawrence O’Donnell, subbing for Chris Matthews on Hardball yesterday, got a mouthful from an exasperated guest — Rep. John Culberson, (R) Texas.

“Lawrence, you’re illustrating why MSNBC’s viewership is in the tank,” he said to O’Donnell, continuing, “This is why Katie [a 35-year-old woman who spoke out about restoring the constitution at Sen. Specter’s town hall last week] and everybody else is going to Facebook, everyone’s going to the Internet because, why listen to MSNBC when you won’t let the people you’re interviewing answer the question.”
