“You Decide, We Report”

Some reviews of MSNBC’s new 3pm show “The Most” with Alison Stewart:

> “It seems to have lots of potential. And who better to carry off a show with that tenor than Allison Stewart?”

> “The biggest problem with the show — is the concept of the show itself. People watch TV. People use the internet. They don’t need TV news to spend an hour talking about the internet. If a story was the ‘most emailed story onWashingtonpost.com,’ then MSNBC should report about the story and cover it. They do not need Stewart to keep referencing the internet…They just need the story itself.”

> “I thought the show was good. You could tell that they’re working through some of the bugs, but for me, it was a great show to have on, especially while I’m working at my computer. Finally a news network is concerned with the internet and its place in the news and I will continue to watch.”

> A cable EP writes: “Where in the world did they come up with this? That dork blog producer from ‘Coast to Coast’ was on twice — as was the producer from the booth — who thought this up? It’s a re-birth of Soledad’s old show The Site that had the cyber co-host!”

> An MSN poster: “It was way more engaging than the usual dry presentation that is MSNBC Live.”
