WWE, 7-Eleven Team Up For Third Straight Summer

You know summer has arrived when the WWE collectible Slurpee and Super Big Gulp cups and straws are at your local 7-Eleven.

For the third consecutive summer, the WWE and the convenience store giant have teamed up to promote the sports entertainment brand.

“It is a testament to the branding power of both 7-Eleven and WWE that has enabled us to undertake a third consecutive summer promotion,” said Michelle Wilson, chief marketing officer, WWE. “We look forward to another successful partnership that drives WWE fans to 7-Eleven stores to collect cups and straws as part of their WWE memorabilia collection.”

This year’s exclusive cups and straws featuring current WWE superstars (John Cena, The Miz, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio) along with legends (The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper). Each cup features an action shot from the video game, WWE All Stars.

7-11 customers who purchase a Slurpee beverage and a TWIX candy bar will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid, VIP trip to WrestleMania XXVIII at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on April 1, 2012.
