The Cox News Service analyzes Keith Olbermann‘s nightly Countdown feature, “Worst Person in the World.”
Along with Bill O’Reilly, winners of the “coveted title” include “a hapless burglar who carved a gun out of ham, and a Kokomo, Ind., woman who left her 3-month-old son in her unheated car to drink in a strip club at 3 a.m.” And: “Even ‘Countdown’ made the list last Thursday for showing a photo of former Georgia Sen. Max Cleland instead of intended mark Neal Boortz.”
“It’s an open competition; that’s the beauty of it,” Olbermann jokes. “We let all people in, no matter their lack of merit. Or because of it.” He is turning the feature into a book for John Wiley & Sons…
