As he takes over moderating duties at Meet the Press, David Gregory gives up anchoring his 6pmET MSNBC show, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines tells TVNewser, “David Shuster will anchor the show this week. We’ll have an announcement about a permanent new host soon.”
