Winter Is Coming… TV Newsers Are Following

Game of Thrones doesn’t return until April, but Winter is coming this weekend. Winter Storm Jonas, to be exact.

TV newsers are preparing for what could be a massive storm. The Weather Channel will deploy nine meteorologists and reporters across five cities.

Jim Cantore, Dave Malkoff and Mike Seidel will be in Washington, DC, Jen Carfagno and Raegan Medgie will be in Atlantic City, N.J., Stephanie Abrams and Sam Champion will be in New York, Paul Goodloe will be in Charlotte, N.C., and Ron Blome will be in Memphis.

The Weather Channel began live storm coverage Thursday morning and will continue through Sunday, totaling 75 hours of live, national coverage. As for NBC’s Today show, Al Roker is in New York, Dylan Dreyer is in Roanoke, Va., Gabe Gutierrez is in Charlotte, N.C., and Miguel Almaguer will report from DC.
