CNN anchor Gerri Willis talked personal finance this morning with the ladies of The View, in the final segment of their Day of Hot Topics.
But finishing the taping just before NoonET left little to no time to make the trip from ABC’s studio on 65th and West End to CNN at 58th and 8th for Willis’ program “Issue #1.”
Instead, co-anchor TJ Holmes began the show and a pre-taped interview Willis conducted in the morning aired in the first half hour. Willis first appeared live on the air at 12:35pmET.
When she did appear, CNN Newsroom anchor Don Lemon greeted her. “I just watched you on The View, and now you’re there!” he said. “How many are you?”
