Will One of the Cablers Set an Election Night Record?

Since its Columbus day, we bring you this TV News story from battleground Ohio, and the Columbus Dispatch. On the news that FNC had its most-watched telecast in history — the Oct. 2 VP debate, reporter Tim Feran talked with Fox News VP of news editorial Jay Wallace. “It’s pretty unbelievable. We’re up there with ESPN’s Monday Night Football,” says Wallace of FNC’s ratings.

And MNF is setting its own records. Last month’s Dallas Cowboys/Philadelphia Eagles game drew 18 million viewers representing 13 million households. That’s the largest audience in the history of cable television.

So, cablers, the ball’s now in your court. Let’s see if one of you can top 13 million on election night! We’ll be watching…
