All of the network morning shows have a robust online presence with NBC’s “Today” overseeing Today.com and ABC’s “Good Morning America” launching its new site in partnership with Yahoo! While CBS’ “The Early Show” has long had a site on CBSNews.com, there may be some changes coming–potentially big ones.
Variety‘s Sam Thielman reports that CBS may livestream, “CBS This Morning” on its website, a first for a daily network newscast. Thielman stresses that no decision has been made:
The stream will be georestricted — though the news program will air at 7 a.m. in New York, you won’t be able to watch it live in Los Angeles until 7 a.m. PST — but it will be available in all markets, if ultimately approved.
