Wife of ABC Newsman joins New CBS Morning Show

Lee Woodruff, the wife of ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff, is joining “CBS This Morning” as a contributor.

Woodruff had been a life and family contributor for “Good Morning America.”

For “CBS This Morning,” CBS News chairman Jeff Fager says Woodruff, “will work with us on a broad range of stories,” adding, “Her contribution on veterans’ issues will be particularly valuable, in light of the important work she has done with her husband Bob Woodruff on behalf of wounded veterans.”

Woodruff is the co-founder of the Bob Woodruff Foundation as well as the co-author of the best-selling book “In an Instant.” Woodruff is also working on a novel which will be published in September.
