Why Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin Was in Lucious Lyon’s Meeting on Empire

Bloomberg TV’s With All Due Respect co-host Mark Halperin made a cameo appearance on Fox’s hit show Empire last night. Halperin was a member of the board at Empire Entertainment, headed by Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard).

“My friend Danny Strong, who wrote the screenplay for Game Change, is one of the creators of Empire, and wrote and directed the episode I was in,” Halperin told TVNewser. “I am a huge fan of the show and Danny and I agreed I was sort of perfect for a role that required me to sit and do nothing but make faces. I believe I nailed it.”
