What’s Going on Behind This Wall?

The wall, which extends across two CBS Broadcast Center buildings, covers the construction going on inside the West 57th Street news HQ which will be home to the newsroom and studio for the revamped “Early Show.” The show, which currently broadcasts from the General Motors Building on Central Park South, will be moving back to the Broadcast Center when construction is complete — and, by all accounts, the show that’s housed here promises to be different than the one currently airing.

On Monday, crews painted the wall. The final message reads:

With a wall this big, something important better be happening on the inside.
There is.
Sorry for the mess. We’re busy building you a better morning.
