As CNN’s New York bureau chief Edith Chapin heads to the nation’s capital, DC-based senior manager Darius Walker is moving to the Big Apple to replace her.
“In restructuring the DC desk, assignment editors, futures, and beats into a much stronger, more responsive, and aggressive newsgathering team, Darius showed himself to be a decisive, passionate and strong leader. He will undoubtedly bring those qualities and more to this major new position,” Jon Klein said in a memo today.
