Vinita Nair Says Goodbye to ‘World News Now’

By Chris Ariens

Vinita Nair bid farewell to ABC’s overnight show “World News Now” this morning. Nair joined the show in Sept. 2008 and has been with ABC News since 2007. In her goodbye this morning, Nair said she is going to take an extended vacation and enjoy sleeping in.

As TVSpy reported yesterday, Peggy Bunker will be doing temporary fill-in on the show alongside co-anchor Rob Nelson who joined last May.

The WNN Facebook Fan page has much more on Nair’s departure.
