Since we pay heed to notable first pitches that are terrible and mediocre, we’d be remiss if we didn’t recognize the sublime as well. A performer from Cirque du Soleil did the honors at a Padres game, and if it’s not the best opening pitch we’ve ever seen, it’s certainly the most unique. (Sorry, Chewbacca.)
