Van Jones to Host Election Special for CNN

By Chris Ariens

At 12:45 a.m. on Nov. 9, when it was clear Hillary Clinton was going to lose the election, CNN analyst and former adviser Pres. Obama Van Jones gave impassioned remarks about the outcome. “This was a whitelash. This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was a whitelash against a black president, in part. And that is where the pain comes,” said Jones.

Well now Jones is taking the pulse of some of the more than 60 million people who didn’t vote for Pres.-elect Trump and some of those who did in a special on CNN next week. The Messy Truth will include a live studio audience at the Time Warner Center in New York and will also feature conversations with special guests including former presidential candidate Rick Santorum, documentary film maker Michael Moore and CNN Political Commentator and republican strategist Ana Navarro.

The Messy Truth airs Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET.
