Professional and college football season is inching closer, and some TV Newsers were recently featured in an ESPN documentary “SEC Storied” on the SEC Network.
Shepard Smith, Willie Geist, Amy Robach, and James Carville were all part of “The Stars Are Aligned,” which premiered on the new SEC Network last week. Smith talks about “groving” at Ole Miss. “You want your space, you want your friends around you; we grove with the same people every week.”
Geist described the greatest moment he and his friends had at a Vanderbilt football game: the team’s kicker fake punting at the end of the game and then running 81 yards down the field for the touchdown. “What’s up now, Alabama!” Geist recounted shouting.
