Lady Gaga, Madonna, Julianne Moore, Kelly Ripa and Taylor Swift highlight Variety’s 2015 New York Women’s Impact Report, but TV newsers are prominent throughout.

Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner is the only cable news face to make the list. The host of Outnumbered and Fox Report Weekend said “Roger Ailes believes in me,” when asked how her career came to be.

“There are 1,440 minutes in every day, so you’ve got 1,440 opportunities to make a positive difference each day,” Faulkner told Variety.  “Own the very moment you’re in, and you will win.”

Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie also makes the list, saying  “age-old journalism values of scrutiny, analysis and basic vetting” are “more important than ever.”

CBS has a pair of newsers on the list, with Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell both making the cut. The article mentions that the colleagues, along with Charlie Rose, have CBS This Morning up in the ratings department. Yahoo! News global anchor Katie Couric discusses the challenge of moving to digital content.

“I had so many naysayers along the way. I hope that young women and young men who are just getting into their careers can look at mine as a case study in resilience,” Couric said.

Good Morning America entertainment producer Monica Escobedo is also featured along with numerous media executives.
