President Obama will make a primetime address tomorrow about the Gulf oil spill, and all of the news organizations will be covering it. His response to the spill so far has not drawn the most positive response from citizens, which of course provides the media with another narrative to latch onto.
Broadcasting & Cable‘s Marisa Guthrie spoke to “Today”‘s Matt Lauer and “Face the Nation”‘s Bob Schieffer about the president:
“Day after day, you see the picture of the oil spewing out of the bottom of the ocean,” says Bob Schieffer, moderator of Face the Nation on CBS News. “And until that picture changes, it’s going to be a rough road for Barack Obama.”
