1230_forbes-cover-012014-snapchat-30-under-30_768x1000Forbes has released its annual list of the “30 Under 30” in media–men and women who are “defining and driving the ever-shifting world of news and content.” But few work in legacy media like television news–in fact, just two.

Freddy Flaxman, COO for television at The Weather Company, is 29 and made the list for “executing a complete network overhaul” at The Weather Channel, including the launch of “AMHQ” with Sam Champion.

And Kevin Roose, co-executive producer at Fusion, was chosen for the “30 Under 30.” Roose, 27, will be co-producing a documentary series for the network focusing on “pockets of technology and futurism.”
