As Pope Francis continues his sojourn through Manhattan, several national TV news anchors are getting a few moments with the pontiff.
This afternoon, at the end of a ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial, CBS This Morning co-host Norah O’Donnell was invited on to the stage by Cardinal Timothy Dolan to greet the pope. Last night, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Today show anchors Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie got the chance to greet the pope. They talked about the experience this morning on Today:
