Christi Paul, Ali Nejad and Rosci Diaz anchored coverage for HLN during the “The Daily Share.” Al Jazeera America’s coverage includes news correspondent John Terrett and Jamie Floyd with legal analysis.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan targeted the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. The story dominated the news for a week, first as the suspects were identified, then the manhunt which followed and the dramatic capture of the younger Tsarnaev brother as 46 million people tuned in to coverage on that Friday night.

Broadcast and cable networks dedicated special coverage to the one-year anniversary last year.

In the next phase of the trial, the jury will hear evidence on whether Tsarnaev should get the death penalty or spend the rest of his life in prison.
