TV Anchors Among Bleary-Eyed Potter Fans

Keith Olbermann devoted the final 15 minutes of Countdown last night, to Harry Potter mania. Even reporting live from the Potter party outside the headquarters of Scholastic, the U.S. publisher of the series. Olbermann went into a scary amount of detail, leaving no doubt of his idolization of the books.

Good Morning America Weekend took it one step further, hosting a slumber/reading party for young fans. Eleven were invited. By morning, two had finished the 759-page “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”

So how was it? “It was not what I expected, but I enjoyed it a lot,” said slumber-goer Justice. “It was surprising.”
