Tucker Asks: “Dan, Are You Back To Anchoring On MSNBC?”

By Brian

…That’s what the chyron said during Tucker Carlson‘s Beat the Press segment on MSNBC this afternoon. “We’re going big. We’re taking a swing at our own general manager, Dan Abrams,” Carlson said. “Dan’s show, The Abrams Report, went off the air over a month ago when he took over MSNBC. Dan’s an executive now, but didn’t seem that way when the JonBenet Ramsey story broke.”

After playing a few clips of Abrams’ on-air spots, Carlson joked: “The question is, who is running MSNBC? I for one haven’t been paid. There is no one here to sign the checks. On the other hand, consider it’s something to be proud of. Over at CNN Jon Klein runs the show. Do you think he could host an hour of television? How do you think that would rate? Not well. So in the end, we’re proud of Dan.”
