Viewers of ABC News in recent weeks may have noticed a familiar face. Former CNBC anchor Trish Regan has made a handful of appearances on the network to talk about the economy:
Regan had been an anchor at CNBC until March, when she abruptly left the channel. She was expected to be pulled off of her daily program “The Call” and reassigned as a reporter. A spokesperson for CNBC at the time said that she was under contract, so a separation agreement would have to be reached before she could join another outlet.

A spokesperson for ABC News tells TVNewser that Regan is not on staff at ABC, but is being booked as they would any other guest expert.
