By Chris Ariens

TVNewser has learned Tony Harris is leaving CNN after six years with the network. Harris anchors the 11am-1pmET hours of CNN Newsroom and will depart at the end of the year. Harris joined CNN in Sept. 2004 from Atlanta’s CBS station, WGCL.

Page Six also reports that current anchor of CNN’s “American Morning” John Roberts is moving to Atlanta where he will be a national correspondent. Sources at CNN tell TVNewser it’s not a done deal but that contract negotiations are ongoing.

Roberts and his fiancee, Atlanta-based CNN anchor Kyra Phillips are expecting twins in the new year.
