Thursday’s episode of “Jeopardy!” featured a category of “Today” trivia questions called “It’s Not Matt Lauer.” Questions included “He was a ‘Today’ host for six years before starting a 22-year run on the ‘NBC Nightly News’ in 1982” (Who is Tom Brokaw?) and “He was the original host of ‘Today,’ from 1952 to 1961” (Who is Dave Garroway?).
The “Today” hosts tried their hand at a few of the “Jeopardy!” questions Friday morning. Unsurprisingly, Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Natalie Morales knew all the answers, although without the official game show buzzers, there was some confusion over who got to answer what. Watch:
