TNT 'Evaluating The Best Options' After Game 3 Incident

By Marcus Vanderberg

TNT is reconsidering having their Inside the NBA crew broadcast from in front of AmericanAirlines Arena after fans tossed towels at Charles Barkley.

“We appreciate the tremendous enthusiasm of the fans and all that they bring to our live coverage,” said Jeff Behnke, Turner Sports senior vice president and executive producer. “As we continue with our coverage of the Eastern Conference Finals, we are evaluating the best options for presenting our studio show live from Miami.”

Barkley called the Miami Heat a “whiny bunch” last week, making him an easy target for the fans Sunday night.

In typical Barkley fashion, he laughed off the whole incident.

“You know those people can yell and scream but they don’t have the hair on their (butt) to grab me,” Barkley said. “They don’t have enough hair on their (butts) to walk up to me man to man and say, ‘Let’s do this.’ All that yelling and screaming just makes me laugh, man.”
