MSNBC is talking to journalist and human rights activist Ronan Farrow about potentially hosting a program for the channel, THR’s Marisa Guthrie reports.
Farrow has served in the Obama Administration’s foreign policy department, and at the State Department, where was an adviser to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Guthrie suggests that he would be plugged into MSNBC’s weekend lineup, which has undergone much tinkering over the last year or so. It has also served as a proving ground for young talent.
MSNBC declined to comment on the report.
Farrow is the son of actress Mia Farrow and director Woody Allen. He was in the news just this morning, as journalist Maureen Orth (wife of the late Tim Russert) told Matt Lauer that Mia Farrow suggested that Frank Sinatra may be Ronan’s real father.
Farrow himself replied on Twitter:
Listen, we’re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son.
