‘This Week’ On the Move in Washington

Starting Sunday, “This Week” will air an hour earlier on ABC affiliate WJLA in Washington, D.C.

ABC’s weekly public affairs show hosted by George Stephanopoulos and Martha Raddatz, which had aired at 10 a.m. will air at 9 a.m. This Week will now go head-to-head with FOX News Sunday on WTTG.

CBS’s Face the Nation and NBC’s Meet the Press air at 10:30 a.m. in Washington (even though MTP tapes at 9 a.m.).

In the Washington market, Meet the Press is the ratings leader, followed by Fox News Sunday and Face the Nation which trade off for second place, with This Week typically in 4th place.

The Sinclair-owned WJLA will now air its public affairs show Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson at 10 a.m., followed by Government Matters hosted by Morris Jones at 10:30.
