‘This Week’ Enjoys First Sweeps Win Over ‘Face The Nation’ In Five Years

ABC’s This Week beat CBS’s Face the Nation in the just-completed November sweep. “This is George Stephanopoulos‘ first sweep victory over ‘Face the Nation’ since taking over as anchor of the program on September 15, 2002,” ABC notes in a press release. The last time ABC beat CBS during sweeps was in 2001.

Update: 4:01pm: Also, ABC has bested Face The Nation four times in the key Adults 25-54 demo. And in the past seven weeks, they’ve also bested Face four times in total viewers, FishBowlDC reports…
