- Dan Childs has been promoted to Managing Editor of the ABC News Medical Unit after leading the ABCNews.com Health digital team. Childs, who joined ABC News in 2006, will now oversee health and medical coverage for all ABC News platforms.
- Negotiations between Fox News and SiriusXM have broken down which could leave the FOX News/Talk Channel on XM in the dark December 31. A separate deal would keep the channel available to Sirius subscribers, at least until February when that contract is up.
