- Weather Channel has named Neil Katz VP and editor in chief of its digital division. He will oversee all editorial content on the Weather Channel sites and mobile apps. He had been executive editor of The Huffington Post, and before that was executive editor of CBSNews.com and a producer for “48 Hours.”
- FBN’s Gerri Willis talks to Westchester Magazine. Asked about the biggest difference in TV news today compared to when she started: “You no longer have to come up the ranks. Networks increasingly hire people for on-air work who have special knowledge of a topic.”
- Little David Gregory has finally been adopted! The chihuahua bearing the same name as the NBC anchor has found a new home, after being featured on “Today.” Ironically, the family that adopted him wasn’t familiar with the big David Gregory.
