- CNN isn’t letting the president’s address tomorrow night dampen its party for the return of “Crossfire.” The revelry at the invite-only celebration will subside around 9pm when the president speaks. TVs will be tuned to CNN, of course, and the party will be extended an hour, to 10pm.
- Steve Anderson joins NBC News as Managing Director of the newly-formed Peacock Productions UK. The former ITV and BBC producer will be tasked with launching the unit’s international division. New president of NBC News, Deborah Turness, is also a veteran of ITV.

- After just three weeks on the air, Al Jazeera America anchor Morgan Fogarty is leaving the network and returning to local news in Charlotte. The idea of going to New York seemed like a good idea at the time, but her new-old station says Fogarty “came to the decision with her husband, to return to Charlotte.”
