> ABC News will begin a series, “Afghanistan: Where Things Stand,” across all platforms on Sunday. Included will be reports from senior foreign affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz, who was embedded recently with troops in Kabul.

> Before the Super Bowl, there was CBS News’ 48 Hours Mystery. On Saturday, it was the night’s top program in Total Viewers, and top in the time slot in the A25-54 demo.

> There will be a new face at “1600 Pennsylvania Avenue,” as White House correspondent Savannah Guthrie will guest host the MSNBC show today at 6pmET. David Shuster is filling in today and tomorrow for Keith Olbermann on Countdown.
