The Storm That Won’t Go Away

By Chris Ariens

CNN and Fox News (and MSNBC during team handball news updates) continue to follow Tropical Storm Fay, which never formed into a Hurricane, but might still.

It’s zig-zagged through Florida from Key West and now is centered on Florida’s east coast around Cape Canaveral and could move back west over the gulf and make another landfall in the panhandle. The national weather service puts it best, “The extended future of Tropical Storm Fay is somewhat uncertain.” So good luck Foxcasters, CNN Severe Weather experts and NBC Weather Plus meteorologists. It could be an unpredictable next few days.

Either way, Florida’s in the midst of a two-year drought, so the rain can only help.
