One of the preferred targets of Fox’s “The Simpsons” is its corporate cousins at Fox News. Whether it is in the opening credits or the entire episode, the show has never held back its jabs.
The knives were brought out once again last night. “The Simpsons” was honoring the 25th anniversary of Fox, but the writers wanted to make sure everyone knew that they weren’t honoring everyone at the company.
In honor of the anniversary, Fox replayed the very first episode of the show, but there was a slight tweak to the ending: a title card:
