- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, the older brother of ABC’s Chris Cuomo, has named Allison Gollust communications director. Gollust was most recently the head of communications for NBC Universal, departing when CEO Jeff Zucker left the company.
- Andrea Kremer is joining NFL Network. Kremer will be chief correspondent in a new unit dedicated to examining player health and safety issues. Kremer worked the sidelines for “Sunday Night Football” on NBC, as well as the last three Olympics.
- Katie Couric’s talk show “Katie” is taking a cue from Oprah, and adding regular contributors. The program announced that supermodel Kathy Ireland is joining the show as a contributor on a variety of issues, such as relationships and parenting.
