  • At a 5amET news conference in Estonia, carried live on the cable news networks, Pres. Obama vowed that “justice will be served” in the deaths of two journalists beheaded by ISIS militants. “Those who make the mistake of harming Americans will learn that we will not forget,” said Obama.
  • Cory Gnazzo has been named EP of “The Rachel Maddow Show,” taking over for Bill Wolff who joined “The View” last week. Gnazzo, senior producer of TRMS, has been with the show since launch in 2008. He joined MSNBC in 2000 as a producer of “The News with Brian Williams.”

  • “Now with Alex Wagner” senior producer Rob Gifford has left MSNBC for Bloomberg where he’ll be senior broadcast producer of the new politics vertical run by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. Previously, Gifford was a senior producer with “Morning Joe” and a producer of  FNC’s “Studio B w/ Shepard Smith.”
