- RCN cable has dropped Al Jazeera America from their lineup. RCN has about 67,000 subscribers in markets including Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and New York.
- The BBC is cutting up to 500 jobs from BBC News, or about 6% of the workforce. The BBC says it’s looking to find savings of £800m a year, or $1.33 billion, by 2016/17.
