The Morning Ticker: 30 Rock Fire, Hillary Drops, Gasparino Booted

  • Camera equipment atop 30 Rock, which houses NBC, MSNBC among other networks, caught fire last night raining debris onto the Top of the Rock observation deck. Five adults and one child suffered minor burns.

  • In the latest New York Times Best-Sellers list, a provocative new book about Hillary Clinton has overtaken the new memoir by the presumptive presidential candidate. Edward Klein‘s Blood Feud is #1 for the week of July 20, while Clinton’s Hard Choices droppd to #2.

  • Charlie Gasparino’s coverage from the annual Allen & Co. media summit was short-lived. The New York Post reports the hard-charging reporter was booted from what he calls the “insipid Sun Valley conference” after two run-ins with security. On Twitter, he vowed to return next year.
