- Fusion CEO and Univision News president Isaac Lee has been named to the board of directors of the AP. The other two new members are Bill Hoffman, president of Cox Media Group, and Rob King, senior vice president of ESPN.
- Vasant Prabhu has been named CFO of NBCUniversal. Prabhu, who starts June 1, will report to CEO Steve Burke, and be a member of Burke’s Executive Committee. Prabhu joins NBCU from Starwood Hotels & Resorts where he was CFO and Vice Chairman.

- It’s Bill Whitaker day in Los Angeles. The LA City Council honored the longtime CBS News correspondent with his own day — which is one of his last living in the city. Whitaker will soon be moving east where he’s been named correspondent for “60 Minutes.”
